Youth Mission Trip Stockholders meeting
26 youth and adults traveled to the Ozarks in August to spread the love of Jesus Christ to those in need - and that love was on display as they worked to repair homes and a church. On Sunday, September 12, 2010 following the 10:50 am worship service, the youth will sponsor their Stockholders Meeting. If you purchased stock, you are invited to be their guests for lunch and for the official report on what they did, what they learned, and how your investment made a difference in the lives of the team and the people they helped.
If you are not a stockholder, but would like to be part of the celebration, tickets for lunch will be available for a donation
Sunset UMC Mission Teams to speak at UMW Meeting
On Thursday, September 16, 2010, members of our adult mission team will tell about their experiences at UMCOR Sager-Brown in Baldwin, Louisiana. Come hear about the week of work, ministry and spiritual growth.
In addition, some of those who participated in our youth mission trip will share some of their adventures in the Ozarks where they spent a week learning how to be a team as they worked on homes and churches in that area.
The meal is $10 and begins at 6:00 pm. The program begins at 6:30.
