Our Church Staff

Senior Pastor - Pastor Mike and his wife Andrea are graduates of Texas A&M University.  Mike attended seminary at Duke Divinity School and has been a pastor in the Methodist Church since he was 23 years old and Andrea is the Children's Ministry Coordinator at West University Methodist Church.  Both of them profess a love for the Lord and God's people and are partners in this ministry journey (along with their two dogs Sully and Cora). Associate Pastor Victor and Ana were each members of Foundry Methodist Church before Victor received the call to ministry.  Victor served for 15 years in the Fire Department, and Ana works in the Texas Methodist Conference Office.  They have two sons, Daniel and David. Choir Director John Haw has been a leader in music ministry for decades.  He originally worked in the Merchant Mariner Service and now leads worship at Sunset!  He and his wife come from the Presbyterian Church and he would love for you to join the choir!	John Haw
Organist Sunset is very fortunate to have the musical talents of Ms. Robin Dunn on Sunday mornings.  You will find her playing the Organ or Piano in a vibrant and beautiful way.  She has ministered with music most her life and continues to bless others with her talent.	Robin Dunn
Business Manager Sharon has led within Sunset in a variety of ways. She has volunteered in our children;s ministry, our after school programs, and much much more.  For the past several years she has done a marvelous job as our business manager!    Children's Director Michael Newman has been a member of Sunset since he was born. Michael is married to his best friend Brittany Newman and has two daughters Harper and Everleigh. Michael has a passion for children, Jesus, and education. He currently is a Kindergarten Teacher, Director of Children's Ministry and one of our worship band members.     Spanish Worship Leader Gracco Contreras is a Vocal- Coach, Songwriter,  Producer, Musician and Academic Dean of the CanZion Music Institute.  He is also our worship leader in the Sunset en Espanol service!
