Adult Sunday SchoolInstead, speaking the truth in love, we will in all things grow up into him who is the Head, that is, Christ. From him the whole body, joined and held together by every supporting ligament, grows and builds itself up in love, as each part does its work. (Ephesians 4: 15-16)
We have many Adult Sunday School classes at 9:15am with different formats such as lecture, discussion, or round table. We also offer Sunday School classes for youth and children.
The Wesley Bible Study Class is a warm and welcoming class for all ages. Taught by Eloyce Wigle, Rick Henderson and Mary Townshend they study the Bible through lecture and discussion. (Room 303)
The Heroes Class participants range from 18-40 (young adult and beyond) in a lively discussion each week on how to live as a Christian. Nancy Hinshaw is the leader of this light hearted but committed class with God as the ultimate Hero.(Resource Room, Family Life Center)
As children and youth became more involved in Sunday School, we took the opportunity to offer a new Sunday School Class for their parents. Our New Life Class is led by Pastor Keith. (Junior High Room, Family Life Center.)
Janet Reed leads the discussion for the Seekers Class which usually uses the Adult Bible Studies series. They come together to learn, to share joys and concerns, to be supported and to give support, and to be inspired to service as part of the body of Christ. Singles as well as couples of all ages are welcome. (Room 301)
Started in 1977, the Sunrise Class used to be the young adult class. Now we are just adults who think young. Our class ages vary from the 40's to the 80's and we are basically a discussion-based class. This class, led by Kathy Dittmar, loves variety: married couples, singles, widows, moms, dads, and grandparents. All are welcome to come and share in the GOOD NEWS. (Room 306)
